The Kentucky River

The Kentucky River is not known for it's beauty. It's muddy, dirty, and lonely. But on a gray day like Sunday, it was the perfect backdrop for some wandering photographers. Chas and I drove through ghost towns and past power plants to find these lesser known corners of Kentucky. We came across a beautiful abandoned house (borrowed a window), practiced prisms and Brenizer methods in a large concrete and brick structure, and played on moss covered hills. Granted we could only do these things for 20 minutes at a time, because our poor fingers would have frozen off, it was still the perfect dose of Adventure for a lazy Sunday.
